For New Balance, its collaborative relationships play a key role in its style-forward offerings. One such partnership that has proven mutually beneficial is with Chicago native Joe Freshgoods, who helped the brand launch its new 9060 model earlier this year. Beyond this, the duo has recently provided plenty of other fresh looks that have made noise in the sneaker game. Now, the two have prepared a capsule of 993 colorways that have been named the “Performance Art” pack. Three pastel colorways in “Arctic Blue,” “Powder Pink” and “Sage” are included with its initial launch taking place via raffle for those who donated school supplies in Chicago.Looking closer at the Joe Freshgoods-designed New Balance 993 “Arctic Blue,” a mixed material upper of a mesh base and suede overlays bounces between off-white and “Arctic Blue” shades. Additional detailing includes standard New Balance 993 Made in USA branding elements at the tongue, “N” logos and heel counter which also carries a “JFG” emblem. Supporting this, the ABZORB midsole favors a mix of teal and a yellowed off-white while resting atop a teal rubber outsole. The wider release of the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 “Performance Art” collection is expected to take place in the coming weeks via New Balance and select retailers worldwide. Stay tuned for more information and look for each pair to cost $220 USD.In case you missed it, New Balance has prepared the 1906R in a Cordura fabric-backed “Desert Tan” colorway for the fall.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
