It’s time for Jordan Brand’s annual changing of the guard — going from one Air Jordan to the next. For the Air Jordan 37, it managed to make plenty of noise in its yearlong run with everything from a classic “Raptors” look to an UNDEFEATED collaboration. Now, it’s time for the Air Jordan 38 to shine.Teased during the silhouette’s reveal, the “FIBA” colorway celebrates the International Basketball Federation as its release overlaps with this year’s FIBA Basketball World Cup. The technology-backed design makes use of its textured upper to weave in a light gray alongside a predominantly-white finish. Elsewhere, the tongue and heel include strong hits of gold around the Jumpman branding with a trophy embroidered at the interior portion of the tongue. Lastly, the full-length Zoom Strobel unit and full-length Cushlon 3.0 foam are encased by a black and white sole unit supported by a translucent outsole. With the Air Jordan 38 making its debut on shelves in just two weeks, the “FIBA” colorway is set to serve as the second release for the new silhouette on September 7. Look for it to be made available via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers at a price of $200 USD.Looking for more of the latest news from the footwear space? We’ve got you covered.
