Off-White™ and Nike are back together once again, this time gearing up for the release of their collaborative Air Jordan 2 Low in “Black/Blue” and “White/Red.”As per Virgil Abloh’s signature aesthetic for his brand Off-White™, the AJ2s feature prominent stamped “Off-White™ for Nike” Helvetica branding on the medial alongside touches such as the infamous zip-tie that’s attached to the laces. However, switching things up for the duo’s collaborative line is the inclusion of Michael Jordan’s signature, which finds itself plastered over the lateral mid-panel. Despite Abloh previously working with Jordan, this is the first time this element has been featured in any of the Off-White™ works.Elsewhere, we find aesthetical touches such as “pre-crumbled”-effect sole units that are meant to acknowledge the shoe’s age, as this silhouette is turning 35 years old this year. As a result, the midsoles are yellowed on the “White/Red” pair, and faded on the “Black/Blue” offering. In addition to the two sneakers releasing, Off-White™ and Jordan Brand have worked together on an accompanying capsule collection of basketball clothing, dropping T-shirts with superimposed vests on them, more typical tees, hoodies, caps, and a pair of shorts and matching trousers.Take a look at the atmos Tokyo campaign above, and find out more information about how to cop the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 2 Low collaboration on atmos’ website. The entire collection will drop globally at various retailers on November 12.
