In 2022, Nike brought back the OG colorway for its Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” model, reviving the white staple sneaker with sharp hits of green all around. Now, Nike has released an alternative colorway to celebrate the West Indian Day Parade Carnival held annually in September in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. The shoe was first released in the early 2000s and saw a surge in popularity, arriving in four different colorways to celebrate West Indian culture. This upcoming pair sees the Nike Air Force 1 Low come with contrasting yellow accents. Constructed in a typical white leather base upper and mesh tongues, the shoe’s lining is highlighted with the West Indies branding which can also be seen on the tongue tags and lace dubraes as well as the lateral heel, embroidered in the Caribbean colors. The sharp yellow contrast matches the graphic insoles listing all the islands of the Caribbean. The shoe sits atop a yellow rubber outsole to round off the design. The Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” in yellow accents arrives in select retailers and Nike in the coming months for $150 USD.In case you missed it, here is an official look at the Jordan Tatum 1 “St. Louis.”Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
