Earlier this year, Nike and its Skateboarding division, Nike SB, introduced the Blue Ribbon SB (BRSB) as a celebration of the brand’s history. Featuring a design inspired by the classic Nike Cortez and a name that references Nike’s Blue Ribbon Sports origins, the Nike BRSB is packed with heritage. Now, the sneaker finds itself in Nike’s famous “Grinch” colorway. While the unorthodox Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low of a similar color palette may turn more heads, the Nike Blue Ribbon SB “Grinch” lets the colors do the talking.Combining bright green with red, the Nike Blue Ribbon SB creates a colorway perfect for the holiday season. Suede matches up with mesh to outfit the upper in green while red covers the leather Swooshes found on each side. White complements the look at the tongue, laces and sole unit. Further detailing at the sole includes a visible React foam drop-in insole in a matching green to complete this pair.A release date for the Nike Blue Ribbon SB “Grinch” has not yet been announced. Look for it to hit shelves in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at an expected price of $100 USD.In other footwear news, early reports have leaked that Ja Morant may be receiving his own signature sneaker with Nike for Summer 2023.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
