Nike Mac Attack Surfaces With a “Red Crush” Motif

This year, Nike is digging back into its tennis archives to give one of its offerings from 1984 its first-ever retro release: the Nike Mac Attack. Crafted by the Swoosh for tennis legend John McEnroe, the sneakers are starting to generate a sizable amount of excitement as collaborations with Social Status have been revealed and Travis Scott was spotted rocking a pair that’s been remixed with Cactus Jack branding and his signature reverse Swoosh. And now we’re seeing the silhouette on our radar again in a brand new “Red Crush” color scheme.Upper halves are made up of a mixture of breathable mesh and smooth leather, the former of which gives its side panels structure while the latter is utilized for the overlays. A crispy white hue covers most of the real estate, allowing its “Red Crush” accents to poke out from the Swooshes, collars, checkered tongue branding, heels and outsoles. In terms of branding, you’ll find the usual Nike Sportswear logo on the tongues while a “Nike” hit lands on the heel. Furthermore, the shoe’s size and style code is printed on the interior medials. No release information has been revealed at this time, but be on the lookout for Nike and select retailers to drop these in the coming months for $120 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by sell in story (@xcsnkr)In other news, a Nike Dunk Low “Rose Whisper” colorway has been revealed.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
