Nike Golf has continuously found new approaches to bringing streetwear to the green. Whether it be collaborating with Jordan Brand’s portfolio of silhouettes or using traditional Nike models, Nike Golf is providing more opportunities than ever to stand out. This time around, they once again rework the classic Air Max 90 into a golf-ready form while celebrating the U.S. Open. The annual national championship serves as one of four majors in golf and takes place in Brookline, Massachusetts this year.The Air Max 90 G find itself in a “Summit White/Dark Marina Blue/Red Clay” color scheme that pulls themes from both the event and its location. Opting for a spikeless outsole, this pair stays true to its original form and includes a Phylon foam midsole with an Air unit, a lightweight synthetic upper and iconic waffle outsole. Equipped to handle the elements, it is designed to be waterproof and backed by Nike’s 1-year waterproof warranty.
