Nike has just given a closer look at the tennis apparel Serena Williams will be sporting through her final U.S. Open. The six-time tournament champion will be making a bold statement with her collaborative outfit made alongside Nike and Serena Williams Jewelry.Inspired by competition dresses worn by figure skaters, the ensemble is an embellished bodice and skirt where the skirt sees six layers — a nod to her six wins at Flushing Meadows — with the upper portions covered in crystals. The highlight of the outfit is the custom NikeCourt Flare 2 trainers where Williams’ initials can be found on the medial side while a diamond Swoosh is present on the lateral side. The deubrés are also made from solid gold and have 400 hand-set diamonds in black ceramic.
