Nike Dunk High “First Use” Pack Expands With a “University Gold” Colorway

The Nike Swoosh is certainly one of the most recognizable logos across the globe, and 2021 marks 50 years since graphic designer Carolyn Davidson brought the iconic check to life. So to celebrate a five decades of branding, Nike is rolling out an expansive “First Use” Pack, and the latest iteration to join its ranks is the Nike Dunk High “University Gold.” At the time of writing, this colorway is the fourth Dunk High to be officially unveiled. Its design presentation gravitates towards tones that align with the Fall season. Its titular shade wraps most of the upper here as it appears on the smooth leather collars, quarters and toe boxes. Next door are shaggy suede overlays, all of which are drenched in a mustard-esque hue. Like its previously revealed makeups, the Swooshes on the lateral side arrive in outlined form while the medial sides are filled in completely. Both are dripped in white and provide a subtle-yet-effective form of color-blocking. Additionally, a “First use June 18, 1978” notation is printed below the lateral Swooshes to nod to the logo’s birthday. Moving southbound, the midsoles are baptized in full white and come mated with a gum outsole.Official images can be viewed in the gallery above, and you can likely expect Nike to release these in the coming months for $110 USD.For more footwear news, Louis Vuitton and Nike are joining forces for 21 Air Force 1 colorways.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
