Nike Blazer Mid ’77 Gets Sweet “Dark Chocolate” Makeover

When the Blazer Mid first launched in the late 1970s it was viewed as a key offering to rock on the basketball court, but in the modern era the shoes have become an omnipresent lifestyle staple. For the Nike Sportswear family, it’s certainly one of the most prolific silhouettes that the market is seeing today, and it has now just been unveiled in a sweet “Dark Chocolate” colorway. This latest variation doesn’t adhere to the traditional upper constructions that we’re accustomed to seeing. Instead of the base layers being crafted with smooth leathers, it gets formatted with a shaggy suede fabric that’s dipped in its titular shade, along with beige toe box and forefoot overlays and heightened heel panels. Swooshes are made with a smooth leather build and arrive coated with a caramel-like brown to further echo its candy-focused motif. In addition, the tongue banners are dyed with a purple backdrop while the laces provide more contrasting as they bear angelic finishes.Parties interested in scooping up a pair can find these releasing on November 3 via the Nike SNKRS app. Retail price is set at the usual $110 USD.If you’re interested in checking out more footwear news, Nike SB’s Blazer Mid Acclimate just appeared with a “Sand Dune” palette.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
