Nike Blazer Low X to Launch in a Duo of Understated Colorways

Like the Air Force 1, the Blazer is simply one of those clean footwear canvases that has boundless potential to be reimagined in a variety of ways. Nike and its latest Blazer Low X is a prime example of that, and it has just surfaced in a duo of extra versatile colorways.Constructionally, the new model isn’t too unfamiliar from what we’ve seen in the past as it sports a low-top construction that’s predominantly engineered with tumbled leather materials. However, it does usher in some aesthetic tweaks as the overlaying Swooshes have been discarded and replaced by dotted outlines of the check. In addition, the mudguard — which has been presented with a smooth suede material — now starts from just before the toe box and wraps around to the heels. In terms of branding, the heel’s “NIKE” hit is kept consistent, but the Swoosh design team adds the shoe’s model name and its style code in debossed fashion towards the lateral heels. Two colorways of the Nike Blazer Low X including a “Black” and a “Cyber” have been officially unveiled, both of which are releasing via Nike Japan on March 31 for ¥11,000 (approx. $101 USD).On the hunt for more news about sneakers? The Nike SB Blazer Mid recently popped up in a duo of distressed colorways.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
