Christian Tresser’s Air Max 97 first introduced itself to the world back in 1997, and since then, it’s held up its status as a staple silhouette for the Nike Sportswear category. Before sneakerheads get all riled up about the highly-anticipated return of the “Silver Bullet” iteration, the silhouette is carving out space to introduce other inline colorways, one being this Air Max 97 “Muslin/Pink Foam” colorway.Premium materials are the focal point of this particular installment. The Nike design teams opted to treat the mudguards with a chocolate-y brown luscious suede fabric, Nubuck leather and hemp canvas also make appearances on the upper of this Japanese bullet train-influenced model, both of which are covered in a “Muslin” hue. Rosy “Pink Foam” accents are also called the table and sprinkle to the Swoosh branding on the quarters and insoles as well as the strip accents that are situated in the forefoot and heels of the treading.
