Brunt Workwear is kicking off a partnership with the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium, and—most important—the Gillette Stadium Field Crew. The work boot and apparel brand is now an official sponsor of the multimillion-dollar stadium’s field crew, providing its signature boots and co-branded clothing to the hard-working behind-the-scenes team that makes football season possible.
“This partnership felt like a natural fit for us,” explains Eric Girouard, founder and CEO of Brunt Workwear, launched in 2020. “We’re inspired by the Gillette Stadium Field Crew’s commitment to the daily grind of keeping the fields pristine. Girouard grew up watching Patriots games with his family and friends. He realized early on that the workers mowing, sodding, edging, maintaining the field, hauling equipment, and removing snow were essential to giving fans and players a great game day experience.
“We’re proud to stand behind the Gillette Stadium Field Crew, and to keep them comfortable and safe while they’re putting in the work,” he says.
Fans will get to join in the fun through game day activations this fall, including three Brunt-hosted tailgates at home games on September 7 vs. the Raiders, November 2 vs. the Falcons, and December 14 vs. the Bills. “It’s a great opportunity for our team to connect with customers and the trade community here in New England,” says Girouard.
“Our retailers across the region will also be involved in bringing this partnership to life in-store,” he adds. “We’re excited to leverage our relationship with the New England Patriots, Gillette Stadium, and the Gillette Stadium Field Crew to drive awareness and foot traffic that supports our retail partners.”
New England sports fans can expect to see a lot more of Brunt this year through additional partnerships. “We’re continuing our work with professional athletes like [X Games gold medalist] Travis Pastrana and [mixed martial artist/kickboxer] Cowboy Cerrone, the crews and athletes behind NASCAR, Off-Road and Snocross events, and the Professional Bull Riders League,” Girouard says.
