New Balance Outfits the Made in UK 991 With Harris Tweed

New Balance has shown a lot of love to its 991 silhouette all-year round, and after it was recently unveiled alongside streetwear label Stray Rats, it’s now returning to the spotlight in GR form with an elevated upper. Next up for the Made in UK variation is a brand new “Harris Tweed” colorway whose color-blocking perfectly aligns with the Fall/Winter season.Inspiration for these exquisite kicks comes from the rugged terrain and open vista beauty of the Outer Hebridean islands of Scotland. Brown, navy and white tweed patterns are injected into the collars, mid-foot and toe boxes which add a nice touch of British heritage while the overlays are suppled with a premium nubuck fabric that’s drenched in a chocolate brown. Tongues, laces and overlays on the collars and toe boxes provide even further contrasting with darker shades of brown while the N logos are done up in silver. Midsoles go with their classic two-toned look, and the treading is submerged in a solid black hue.For parties interested in buying a pair, you can find these dropping on November 27 via New Balance UK for £210 (approx. $280 USD).In case you missed it, the New Balance 992 just released in a juicy purple colorway.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
