It’s certainly been a busy year for New Balance. Between highly-anticipated collaborations and in-house growth such as the refreshed MADE in USA line, there’s been no shortage of new material coming from the American sportswear brand. Expanding on this effort is the newly introduced New Balance 9060. Featured in two collaborative colorways with Joe Freshgoods, this silhouette hit the ground running and shows no signs of slowing down. Most recently, it appeared in Mowalola’s Spring/Summer 2023 runway show in Paris sporting another two colorways.Inspired by the 990 series and the brand’s history in performance running, the 9060 offers a fresh take on a familiar look. Early 2000s running shoes such as the 860 combine with 990 series technology to create this modern silhouette. Key details include an extended “N” logo, diamond shaped outsole, heel split, badge on the tongue and a thicker CR device. Debuting in “Sea Salt,” the 9060 utilizes premium pig suede leather and mesh on its upper for a premium look and feel. While the Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 hit shelves in May, the launch colorway of the 9060 is set to launch July 16. This “Sea Salt” makeover will be available via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $150 USD. Additional colorways are set to launch in the following months, including the Mowalola collaboration. In other New Balance news, the brand’s final collection with STAUD is set to launch later this month.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
