MSCHF’s product launches tend to have a viral nature to them thanks to the controversial designs and flat-out wacky allure that they exhibit. It has been evident with the brand’s billionaire-inspired popsicles and Air Force 1-inspired Super Normal sneaker, and now it’s captured our attention once more with the release of the adventurous Gobstomper “Jimmy Fallon Edition” shoe.Made in collaboration with the comical host of The Tonight Show, the new product draws inspiration from iconic Gobstopper candy. When holding them fresh out of the box, the kicks seem like they are somewhat minimal due to their gray suede exterior panels. However, with natural wear and tear, the shoes gradually shed their outer layer and uncover brighter tones of yellow, blue, and red to mimic the aesthetic of the popular jawbreaker. Tongues split their branding between a trio of exclamation points on the outside and co-branded MSCHF and Jimmy Fallon hits on the inside. Stripes across the toe tips and the psychedelic treading follow suit with their multi-colored motif as well.If interested in copping, you can find these releasing on July 28 at 1pm EDT via a draw on the MSCHF Sneakers app. The MSRP is finalized at $195 USD.
