Although LOEWE’s Spring/Summer 2023 menswear collection graced the runway last summer, the range is now landing on shelves packed with outdoor motifs and a futuristic identity that sucks it into a world of its own. LOEWE’s latest footwear offering arrives as the Grass Sneaker, wrapped in overgrown greenery taken from the outdoors. The pairs on the runway were seeded and grown for over 20 days, while the retail edition features synthetic raffia that gives the effect of natural grass. A supple canvas base is placed beneath, connected to white midsoles hidden by its sprouting meadow. Finally, leather heel tabs receive gilded branding, while wavy indentations decorate the gum outsoles that curve up the rears.
