Kyrie Irving Reportedly in Advanced Talks With Shoe Company, SIA Collective for New Sneaker Deal

Kyrie Irving is making moves to step away from the shadow of Nike. Since the endorsement split, Irving has taken to the courts with taped-over Nike sneakers with explicit messaging that stated that he is looking for a new brand deal.Platinum R&B singer, Musiq Soulchild recently caught up with TMZ when he was spotted wearing a pair of Croc-inspired foam shoes. TMZ inquired about the brand, which led Soulchild to share that they were a pair from a Black-owned shoe company called SIA Collective. SIA, which stands for Somewhere In America, is owned by a Black business owner named Devlin Carter. According to its Instagram, SIA Collective has around 400K supporters. In conversation, Soulchild made it a point to share that the shoe company is based in Oakland and is currently in deep negotiations with Irving on a shoe deal. Soulchild said,”These shoes are made by a Black man. His name is Devlin. He has his own company called SIA Collective…He’s actually in talks trying to work out a deal with Kyrie Irving.”Neither Irving nor Devlin has spoken up about this.
