Aside from his work with ASICS and CamperLab, the London-based, Bulgaria-born fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov knows how to make a sneaker. Following on from this season’s Jehtra boot comes a new silhouette titled the Harkman shoe, sharing a similar design language to the boot while also serving a more daily-wear aesthetic thanks to its low-top approach.Comparisons to the Jehtra start with the tadpole-esque rubber plate that graces the lateral and medial front-quarter panels, which appear in black across both the “Carbon Black/Sleet” and “Mosstone/Castlerock” colorways on offer. Additionally, the Harkman utilizes the same fastening strap as the Jehtra, wrapping over the shoe’s tongue and securing towards the collar with help from velcro.A combination of mesh, suede, and leather work the shoe’s upper, with the paneling also resembling the aforementioned boot. So, we find a thick piece of suede on the toe, a toe box made from mesh, and leather constructing the majority of the shoe’s structural integrity near the mid-panel and collar, while more mesh and leather hit up the heel section for a comfortable and supportive fit.Lastly, the same sole unit from the Jehtra graces the Harkman, meaning you get a full-length array of teeth that dig into the ground to offer traction. However, unlike the Jehtra, the Harkman is already selling out fast in multiple sizes — head over to The Broken Arm to pick up both colorways while stocks last. Kiko Kostadinov’s latest pair retails for $788 USD.In case you missed it, check out what HYPEBEAST has to say about all of Patta’s Nike collaborations.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
