The Decathlon is a track and field event comprising ten disciplines set across two days. In the 1920s, Karhu became an official equipment partner to the Olympic Games, providing javelins, discuses and shot puts for the event.Nearly one hundred years on — and in an Olympic year — Karhu is paying homage to the event, with its “All Around” sneaker pack. Consisting of the Fusion 2.0, Legacy 96, Aria 95 and Synchron Classic, the pack will be split — like the event — into two launch days.Showcased with a lookbook led by creative lead Cris Kuhlen and photographer Taufiq Hosen, the pair have created images that shadow effects of the first five disciplines of the Decathlon. With the first drop set to launch on April 9, the “All Around” pack will be available from the Karhu webstore, as well as Karhu Helsinki and Karhu’s pop-up in Verona. In other news, here’s an official look at adidas’ upcoming YEEZY SLIDE “Core”.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
