Johnston & Murphy has drafted former NFL star Peyton Manning as the new face of the 175-year-old lifestyle brand. “Peyton has worn Johnston & Murphy for many years and this partnership is a nod to our shared values of authenticity, quality, and confidence,” states Danny Ewoldsen, president of Johnston & Murphy, a division of Genesco.
The campaign, promoting Johnston & Murphy’s Fall 2025 collection, puts a humorous spin on Manning’s fashion game with Fashion Fumbles, featuring the former NFL star revisiting questionable wardrobe choices he’s made over the years, then juxtaposes these with a head-to-toe Johnston & Murphy ensemble. A second campaign called Wall of Game presents Johnston & Murphy footwear and apparel as “Hall of Fame” artifacts in Peyton’s permanent collection.

The campaign mixes classic silhouettes with some of Peyton’s favorite product, and includes dress and casual athletic styles as well as performance blazers, quarter zips, and outerwear. Its launch also coincides with the brand’s introduction of the XC+ Extreme Comfort collection, an innovative footwear comfort system featuring proprietary technology and waterproof construction.
Johnston & Murphy will feature the Peyton Manning campaign at its retail, factory, and airport locations, as well as on television and social media.
