Jil Sander expands its minimalist catalog with two new unisex sneakers in white and black.To create the new offering, co-creative directors Lucie and Luke Meier decided to introduce a fresh take on the classic sneaker. Specifically, the duo maintained the athletic aesthetic while also infusing the silhouette with sharp, yet comfortable design notes.Featuring a low and mid-top model, the shoes are a nod to basketball silhouettes with paneled and perforated upper detailing, in addition to a thick wheat-colored sole. Staying in line with the brand’s elevated cadence, the shoes are crafted from soft calfskin Nappa leather with inserts of rubberized leather and mesh.
