As if the output from New Balance hasn’t already been insane this season with all of its collaborative releases and GRs, the brand is now gearing up to revisit its ongoing partnership with artist and actor Jaden Smith. His signature New Balance Vision Racer silhouette hasn’t seen any action thus far in 2022, but it’s ready to get back out there via its newly-revealed “Sunset Pack.”This new initiative consists of two colorways: a Black/Mirage Violet iteration and a “White/Mirage Violet” rendition. Both installments make use of their neutral colorways to swathe the mudguards and overlays of the base layers along with the chunky, segmented midsole units down below. The “Mirage Violet” tone is used as an accent on the toe boxes, underlays and throughout the treading. It is a gradient of purple and pink that is emblematic of many of Jaden Smith’s album cover artworks. Repetitive “Vision Racer” branding is printed on a tiny strip overlay just above the mudguards while the bottoms spell out “Sunset Chaser.”Mark your calendars for a May 27 release via New Balance and note that the kicks will cost $150 USD each.
