A sample version of the 2003 eBay x Nike SB Dunk Low homage has been teased by jfgrails. Dating back to 2003, three pairs were created where the original sample was auctioned off for close to $30,000 USD. The winner was given a pair in his size and the sample was eventually cut into four parts. The final pair was gifted to the late Sandy Bodecker — the father of Nike SB — in 2008.This pair goes into a deep dive into referencing the story of the original colorway with the same eBay colors of red, blue, yellow, and green. Going a step further, the story of the pair that was cut into four pieces was brought back where each piece is now held together with translucent strips to signify the separate section of the shoe. jfgrails teased the pair on Instagram giving fans a look at what the retail pair will look like. These are slated to release sometime later this year.
