Nordica is a name that almost every skier is familiar with – and that’s because the brand has been present on the slopes for decades, crafting performance gear and equipment as far back as the 1930s. Founded by Adriano and Oddone Vaccari, Nordica started life by designing leather boots for mountain trekkers in the Dolomites. It wasn’t until ten years later that the brand infiltrated the ski market with boots for pro-athletes, including Olympic gold medallist Zeno Colò. Ever since, it has been pushing innovation in ski footwear to suit all levels of skiers. At the center of Nordica’s blueprint, though, is the HF boot. As its name suggests, the boot is modelled around hands-free wearability with a unique single click rear entry system and ergonomic design that became favoured over the traditional four buckle boots.
