A new pair of Air Force 1s will be released under the Nike N7 collection in Spring 2022. Nike describes the N7 as a series that originates from the same communities that have shaped Indigenous beacons including Sam McCracken, Brook Simpson and Madison Hammond, who are from the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes, Haliwa-Saponi Tribe, and Navajo and San Felipe Pueblo. The latest 2022 collection promises to honor the creators, athletes and cultural game-changes of the seven generations.The product textures utilized to construct the shoes all pay homage to the Indigenous defense of Mother Earth’s biodiversity. Focusing on transforming fibers and cork to the silhouettes seen in the N7 series, McCracken, Simpson and Hammond legacies are ignited for future generations. The shoe is detailed with a multi-color woven cork upper in blue, yellow and brown. The Air Force 1 Low features an “N7” branded tongue tag while the shoe rests on an eco-friendly midsole and outsole.The Nike Air Force 1 N7 “Woven Cork” is set to release in select retailers and on Nike in Spring 2022.In other footwear news, Nike Dunk Low “University Red” is now available in a sustainable form.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
