Fleet Feet and Nike Team Up

Running buddies Nike and Fleet Feet have doubled down on their partnership, expanding the assortment of Swoosh-branded running footwear, apparel, and accessories stocked by Fleet Feet stores and increasing distribution to more of the chain’s locations.
“This expanded partnership gives our franchise owners stronger access to the Nike product consumers want most, from key styles and fresh colorways to major launches like the Pegasus 42 (women’s pictured below),” says Joey Pointer, CEO of Fleet Feet.
With more than 285 stores in 40 states, Fleet Feet is already the country’s largest franchisor of locally owned and operated run specialty stores—and teaming up with Nike “helps our stores stand out as a trusted destination for runners,” Pointer continues. “It creates real opportunities to drive traffic, build loyalty, and deepen local customer relationships. When you pair great products with the experience and community Fleet Feet is known for, it’s a meaningful business advantage for our owners.”
This isn’t the first time Fleet Feet and Nike have joined forces. They partnered on the Nike After Dark Tour 2025, a global night-running series for women that included 10Ks and half-marathons in cities around the world. For the Los Angeles tour stop, Fleet Feet hosted training hubs, offered bib giveaways, organized a half marathon training program, and hosted the tour’s LA half marathon and post-race celebration.
Earlier this year Nike and Fleet Feet also partnered on the launch of Nike’s Structure Plus through a Run Specialty retail period before the shoe’s global launch. NYC’s Fleet Feet Columbus Circle hosted an event with Nike Run Club Coach Jes Woods that included an interactive workshop on goal setting and training followed by a 5K through Central Park in the Structure Plus. This month, Fleet Feet and Nike are hosting immersive in-store experiences and community activations to promote the launch of the brand’s latest running shoe, the Nike Pegasus 42, which debuted April 9. The latest iteration of the Pegasus franchise is built for peak responsive cushioning performance, with a curved, full-length Air Zoom unit with 15 percent greater energy return than its predecessor. Men’s, women’s and kids’ versions are available at select Fleet Feet doors and at fleetfeet.com.
“Fleet Feet’s expertise, service and events have made them one of the leaders within the running community,” said Seema Simmons, VP/GM, North America Nike Running, in a statement. “Their scale puts Nike Running in the heart of American neighborhoods to inspire and equip all runners, no matter where they are in their journeys, to chase their dreams.”
