ASICS continues to flex its collaborative muscle as it now teams up with Korean label UNAFFECTED on the GEL-KAYANO 14 in three tasteful colorways. Previously, the silhouette has served as a canvas for sought-after releases including last year’s JJJJound collaboration that landed in many “shoe of the year” considerations for 2022. As ASICS’ brand visibility remains on the rise — particularly within fashionable crowds — its list of partners climbs.Joining the mix, UNAFFECTED now teams up with the Japanese footwear brand in crafting yet another street-ready look on the GEL-KAYANO 14. Ranging from “Emerald Green” to “White” and “Silver” colorways, the duo has struck a balance — one common with ASICS footwear as of late — that offers eye-catching attributes without going too far. Black hops in the mix on all three to bring the colors together, cementing each pair as a complement to many color palettes. Considering the silhouette, the GEL-KAYANO 14’s mesh base, synthetic overlays and geometric sole unit return alongside a unique thin cord lacing system that extends to the toe box.As of now, little details regarding the collaboration’s release are known.
