Following the reveal of its Nike Vandal High collaboration inspired by a NOMA t.d. hand-dyed textiles, we now have a first look at Stüssy’s upcoming Nike Air Flight 89 release. The latest installment in the duo’s 20-year-long partnership serves to mark the 35th anniversary of the Nike Air Flight 89 heavily inspired by the Air Jordan 4.The Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89 is expected to arrive in “White/Habanero Red,” “Black/White,” and “White/Pecan” with faux snakeskin accents. The shoes feature leather uppers marked by perforations and snakeskin overlays on the sides. Additional detailing includes mesh collars, “SS” Stüssy motifs, midfoot Swooshes, co-branded tongues, “NIKE AIR” embroidered at the rear, and printed insoles.Elevating the shoe are two-tone Air Jordan 4 sole units complete with visible Air units. The collaboration is also expected to arrive in a special co-branded box.Priced at $160 USD, the Stüssy x Nike Air Flight 89 is now set to release sometime during the Holiday 2023 season.
