Luxury imprints continue to tap into the streetwear community through various collaborative projects, and the latest to be announced is a guest capsule from Tremaine Emory with Dior. The Denim Tears founder and Kim Jones have put their creative juices to work and crafted an entire range of apparel and footwear, the latter of which has just been teased by Thibo Denis — Dior’s Men’s Head Footwear Designer.Emory seems to have honed in on a low-slung silhouette from the French fashion house, and whipped it up in multiple colorways that feature different colors, materials and patterns. A trio of the sneakers are engineered with suede uppers that alternate between striped lateral and medial panels and smoother overlays atop the heels and toe boxes. Lined up are a blue pair with notes of yellow stripes, a brown option with red stripes and a beige offering with Rastafarian and African American flag-inspired accents that are reminiscent of Denim Tears’ Converse collaboration from 2020. In addition, Emory has also prepared a pair that comes blends Dior’s signature monogram pattern and his floral emblem on the lateral panel. Parked on the backside of the midsoles comes a Dior bumper panel that is stylized with the address of the Dior flagship in Paris.Expect the full collection to be revealed tomorrow, December 3, 2022, in Egypt in front of the Pyramids of Giza.In case you missed it, Dior provided a closer look at its racing suit for Gran Turismo 7.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
