Good timing is everything, and this month Ecco will introduce its aptly named June collection, a low-profile, feminine sneaker crafted in rich suedes and super-soft leathers. Jill Butler, director of merchandising for Ecco Americas, says women’s SS 2027 will also see an expanded sandal offering, from dress to casual, including an evolved wedge assortment rooted in comfort, soft leathers, and a feminine color palette.
“Another key highlight is Elevate, our comfort dress collection,” Butler adds. “We’re broadening the assortment with new leathers, fresh colors, and a beautiful wedge sandal that gives her more polished, comfortable wearing options.”
For men, Ecco is introducing Path, a new dress-casual collection designed with enhanced comfort features, including a memory foam footbed. The range includes derbies, slip-ons, casual moccasins, and more refined dress-casual moccasins. Men’s will also see an expanded dress hybrid category with new leathers, rich browns, and updated textures.
As the industry takes stock at the halfway point of 2026, Butler says the year has yielded wins and insights for Ecco Americas. “In men’s, we’ve seen new opportunities emerge that give us a strong foundation to build on as we look ahead,” she says. “In women’s, we continue to learn more about our consumer and where we can best serve her.” Overall, Butler says the brand has scored several successes in women’s this spring and the focus remains on “strengthening our position as the premium comfort solution for her, particularly across casual and dress-casual categories.”
Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, Butler says Ecco is optimistic, despite the many economic headwinds facing all industries. “We have a strong fall product offering coming to market, including the launch of Elevate in August,” she says. The collection reimagines classic silhouettes—like wedges, block sandals, and mules—by blending ergonomic craftsmanship with premium full-grain leather. “As our comfort dress collection, Elevate represents an important opportunity for us to connect with the consumer in a polished, feminine, and comfort-driven way,” Butler adds. “Overall, the materials, colors, and breadth of our fall assortment have been very well received, and we’re excited for the product to reach the marketplace and ultimately the consumer.”
