Good things come in threes, and All Black is putting the adage into action. “We have three very specific points of difference and excitement for our SS 2027 preview,” says Marty Rose, distribution manager for North America.
First up: kitten heels. “They are still the rage this season, combined with mule uppers or slingback uppers featuring unique design treatments,” he says.
Second on deck is a pair of fresh twists on the brand’s breathable favorite—the Amazing Mesh sneaker group. “We’ll introduce two new design treatments,” says Rose. “One uses a tonal pairing of mesh and patent leather. The second creates a tech splatter pattern combined with our signature mesh.”
Third is a revival of the brand’s signature flatform bottom. The beloved chunky sole is now available in new styles featuring a range of innovative upper treatments.
At the halfway point of 2026, business is holding firm for All Black, which has maintained its current customers and added some newcomers to the mix, according to Rose. “But the bottom line shows a decline versus a year ago. Our retail customers see a decline in sales because of the poor economic conditions, the high fuel costs, and the need to be cautious about spending in general,” he says. “The clear sign of this malaise is the lack of re-orders and the need to simply be satisfied if your stock sells through.”
On a positive note, the brand had a strong sell-in for Fall 2026. Even better, “We anticipate growth and a more robust reaction from our retail customers, along with continued growth from our own website sales,” says Rose.
