Extra Butter Celebrates PUMA Clyde’s 50th Anniversary With Limited “NYC” Colorway

After partnering on a pair of ultra-limited Puma Clydes in February, Extra Butter and PUMA now return to the silhouette with a new “NYC” colorway celebrating the model’s 50th anniversary. The Puma Clyde was first introduced in 1971 as Walt “Clyde” Frazier’s signature shoe. Frazier wanted a low top and to wear a different colorway for each game. To accomplish this, the original Clydes were made of suede to make them easier to dye. After the rights for the name CLYDE expired, the pairs were renamed to the PUMA Suede. The upcoming pairs are found in white premium leather uppers with grey suede mudguards. “City Worn” Formstripes are found across the sides, embossed vintage subway token graphics decorate the tongue tab, and “A New York City Story – by Extra Butter -” labels are stitched on the inner tongue. Rounding out the look are rubber soles featuring “NYC” letter branding.Take a closer look at the Extra Butter x PUMA Clyde “NYC” above and look for the pairs to release via Extra Butter on June 3 for $110 USD. 在 Instagram 查看這則貼文 EXTRA BUTTER ®(@extrabutter)分享的貼文 在 Instagram 查看這則貼文 EXTRA BUTTER ®(@extrabutter)分享的貼文Elsewhere in footwear, Nike Dunk Low “Rainbow Trout” receives a release date.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
