ESPN and adidas are collaborating for a pair of Top Ten HI ESPN sneakers and Adilette ESPN 1979 Slides to commemorate the broadcasting titan’s legacy since its founding in the ’70s.The Top Ten Hi sneakers pay tribute to the iconic ESPN’s iconic “SportsCenter Top Ten” segment as well as the basketball shoes gifted to the top ten players in the league back in ’79. The shoes adopt retro styling with uppers dressed in “Cream White” pebbled leathers and classic red and black hues decorating the three lateral stripes and high-top collars. Three gold deubrés displaying “Top Ten”, “1979” and the adidas logo and a lace toggle rest atop the laces. Additional ESPN and “Top Ten” motifs are found on the heel tab and tongue. Below, a black midsole with red contrast stitching and a semi-translucent outsole complete the commemorative pairs.The Adillette ESPN Slides are a comfortable casualwear option featuring a similar retro style as the aforementioned sneakers. Three red and black nylon stripes decorate the “Cream White” leather uppers, and synthetic bottoms display adidas and ESPN co-branding.The collaborative sneakers and slides are priced at $200 and $60 USD respectively and are now available on the adidas website and select retailers.Elsewhere in footwear, the Nike Air Force 1 Shell is returning.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
