Diesel has unveiled an all-new sneaker design, launching the Prototype silhouette as a nod to the label’s direction under creative director Glenn Martens. The silhouette — which made its debut in Diesel’s Spring/Summer 2022 show — features a number of industrial and technical references across its design.The stand-out features of the eye-catching silhouette are its repeated rubber straps and asymmetric lacing, while it also features an industrial-inspired outsole and moulded rubber overlays. The Prototype is due to launch in a white, red and navy blue colorway, with more colorways to follow in the future. To mark the launch, Diesel has also partnered with digital fashion house The Fabricant to craft a limited-edition NFT.
