Today, Nike held its much-anticipated release of the Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Orange Lobster.” The sixth colorway in the series, the theme is still going strong fourteen years after its debut. Celebrating another successful launch, Concepts’ creative director Deon Point took to Instagram to share an incredible lineup of “Lobster” samples and releases. For any Nike SB Dunk collector, this one image hosts a priceless inventory. Grail pairs such as the elusive “Yellow Lobster” that recently fetched a $42,634 USD secondhand sale are joined by various unreleased pairs that prompt one to consider “what if?” Color arrangements of the samples include green and brown, a neon green, lime green, what seems to be a brighter take on the “Purple Lobster” with an unbranded tongue and a darker version with red plaid lining and then a black pair with neon green laces and blue plaid lining.Unfortunately, it is likely that none of these samples will ever see a proper release. However, keep an eye out for more Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Low “Lobster” pairs to surface in the coming years as the duo continues to thrive.
