Dearfoams, a division of RG Barry Brands, has promoted LaShae Boone-McCray to Vice President, Head of Sales. In this new role, Boone-McCray oversees the brand’s sales strategy and execution across all channels, reporting directly to Justine Suh, president of Dearfoams.
Boone-McCray has been instrumental in driving Dearfoams’ sales momentum since joining the company more than five years ago, first as Strategic Account Manager and most recently as Director of Strategic Accounts. A footwear industry veteran with over 15 years of experience spanning retail, wholesale, and private label development, she has built and managed partnerships with top retailers including Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and DSW. Her career began at Aldo Inc. and Aldo Product Services in Montreal, where she advanced into senior leadership roles overseeing global wholesale distribution.

Boone-McCray’s influence reaches across the industry. Named one of the Most Influential Women in Sneakers, she serves on the advisory boards of the Black Footwear Forum and the Footwear Futures Foundation, where she champions mentorship, equity, and expanded pathways for the next generation of leaders. Her impact is defined not only by driving growth but also by shaping a more inclusive and forward-looking industry. A Missouri native, Boone-McCray holds both an Executive MBA and undergraduate degree from Ohio State University.
