Dearfoams is thinking beyond slippers. The iconic 79-year-old brand synonymous with at-home comfort has announced licensing partnerships with makers of casual activewear, base layers, intimates, thermals, hosiery, and cold-weather accessories. Initial products are set to launch in Fall 2026.
“Dearfoams has always stood for more than slippers. It represents the feeling of comfort at home and throughout everyday life,” says Justine Suh, president of the brand, which is part of the RG Barry Brands portfolio. “These partnerships allow us to translate that trusted brand promise across new categories, occasions, and seasons while reaching consumers in more areas of their lives. This is an important step in our evolution from America’s leading slipper brand into a true comfort lifestyle brand.”
Dearfoams’ new partners include:
Gina Group, which will introduce men’s, women’s, and children’s hosiery and legwear, along with cold-weather and fashion accessories.
Bluefish Apparel, which will develop men’s, women’s, and children’s base layers, casual activewear and thermal apparel, and women’s underwear and bras.
Mad Engine, which will develop a Family Bear Throwsie exclusively for Walmart.com for Fall 2026, bringing Dearfoams into a giftable, family-oriented comfort category in time for the holiday season.
The new programs augment Dearfoams’ existing licensing partnerships across sleepwear, soft home, and pet products. Current partners include Centric Brands, which produces the brand’s family plaid sleepwear collection; Idea Nuova, a leader in home décor; and Unique Petz, specializing in functional pet apparel, toys, and accessories.
“Our goal is not simply to place the Dearfoams name on more products,” says Suh. “We are building a thoughtful assortment that delivers on the same promise in every category: making everyday life feel more comfortable. The strength of these partners, combined with our brand recognition and retail relationships, gives us a powerful foundation for long-term growth.”
