It still features a classic canvas upper, but now this has been covered in GORE-TEX which weather-proofs the sneaker against all of the elements.One of the key advantages of it being covered in GORE-TEX is that you can now wear your Converses in the rain and they won’t get sodden, which as we probably all know then turns the canvas into a stiff, unforgiving material.Aside from the black colorway, you’ll find GORE-TEX branding on a tab on the rear, white contrast stitching, a white sole unit and toe cap, and a hardwearing outsole finished with blue Converse branding.Costing ¥ 16,500 JPY (approx. $150 USD), the Converse All Star 100 GORE-TEX “Black” can be purchased over on mita sneaker’s website now.
