Closer Looks: fragment design x Nike Dunk High “Beijing”

Following weeks of anticipation, fragment design and Nike now set to release the first of their “City Pack” revival. Originally released in 2010, the fragment design x Nike Dunk High “Beijing” was one of three iconic colorways designed by the “Godfather of Streetwear” Hiroshi Fujiwara to celebrate key global sneaker destinations.Centered around a mix of “Wine/Black,” the Dunk High “Beijing” is returning with symmetrical color blocking and design development style number updates. The upper of the shoe features a deep purple leather base accented by overlays of black. The black contrast is continued on the lacing, tongue and sockliner providing the shoe with a sleek edge. Aside from the black midfoot Swooshes, branding comes in the form of “NIKE” tongue tags, printed insoles and embossed fragment design lightning bolt brand marks at the heels. Finishing up the design of the shoe are white midsoles marked with the development style text and black rubber outsoles.Priced at $150 USD, the fragment design x Nike Dunk High “Beijing” will be releasing one Nike SNKRS and at select Nike retailers June 5.For more footwear news, YUMS sneakers made famous by Soulja Boy are back.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
