Nike’s Air Max 97 has been given a “Cork” makeover freshened up with a light “Coconut Milk” palette. Most of the shoe is constructed in white canvas, complemented by a handful of vibrant details, like a “Fig. 6” embroidery at the tongue. The collars feature dark yellow mesh, matching the same tone as the thin strip of cork that pops out above the mudguards. An embroidered mini-Swoosh is placed at the mudguards, while a crisp white midsole, equipped with a full-length Air sole unit and a speckled light brown outsole completes the shoe’s bold design. No official release dates have been confirmed, but Nike’s Air Max 97 “Cork” is set to release soon on Nike’s website for $180 USD.In case you missed it, take a look at official images of the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High “Deep Royal Blue.”

New Balance Introduces Three 574 Silhouettes to Celebrate “Grey Day”
After given a first look at the upcoming 574 — complete with an “Un-N-Ding” lack of branding — New Balance has now released a full campaign to mark the shoe’s launch. The new design marks this year’s “Grey Day” celebrations, paying tribute to the signature colorway that the brand is known for.The new campaign references the silhouette’s “Worn by Anyone” tagline, acting as a platform for emerging creative talent across the UK. For this year’s “Grey Day,” New Balance has partnered with five individuals, each of whom has positively impacted their local community. The talent involved — Cktrl (London), Lauren Ralph (Birmingham), Sumuyya Khader (Liverpool), Meme Gold (Manchester) and Wheelman (Glasgow) — will each take over a slot on their local radio station, discussing their work across music, fashion and art.As well as the 574 “Un-N-Ding,” New Balance will release two other versions of the silhouette to celebrate “Grey Day.” This includes the original design of the sneaker — which first arrived in the 1980s — and the recently-launched 57/40 silhouette, which updates the 574 for a new generation.Take a look at the campaign in the gallery above. All three silhouettes are due to release via the New Balance web store on May 15, the same day that the five creatives will take to their local airwaves. For more from New Balance, the grey-themed releases also continue to the 1700 silhouette.
Midfoot Logos are Nowhere to be Found on the New Balance 574 “Un-N-Ding”
You can’t spell New Balance without the N, but the brand’s latest 574 is attempting to do just that in celebration of “Grey Day,” New Balance’s yearly celebration of its “signature” color. Nicknamed the “Un-N-Ding” — a clever play on “unending” — this 574 lives up to its moniker by removing the signature N logo from its quarter, making for a stripped-back retro look that’s centered around timeless construction instead of familiar branding.Built of both shaggy gray suede and earthy tan meshes, the shoe gives off an intentionally aged look that’s furthered by its weathered black rubber outsole — possible nods to the 574’s initial release back in 1988. Cream laces and a light gray heel tab add further flair into the mix, while the shoe’s main pops of vibrance are supplied by the gold branding on its eggshell-colored tongue tag and the aforementioned heel tab. Aged heel clips and two-tone ENCAP midsoles finalize the look. The New Balance 574 “Un-N-Ding” is set to release in the coming weeks via the New Balance webstore. Its MSRP is set at $90 USD.
