Loafer connoisseur Blackstock & Weber refuses to let up when it comes to reframing the classic footwear silhouette. Now the brand’s contemporary cadence has updated its signature Ellis Penny Loafer once again – this time appearing in buttery chocolate hues.Dubbed the Chocolate Flip, the silhouette appears in a two-tone mixed-fabric construction, which utilizes grain chocolate leather and soft suede. What quickly grabs the eye is the inverted design that features a grain leather body on the right shoe and a suede body on the left one. Then the eyelet detailing on each shoe is finished off with the opposite fabric. To bring the shoe’s refined construction to life, B&W worked with Tannieres du Poy and C.F. Stead. For a versatile touch, the silhouette is finished off with a 1757 Vibram sole, which makes it ready for a range of terrains.Check out the gallery above for a look at the new design. Closing out the brand’s Fall/Winter 2022-2023 season, the Ellis Penny Loafer Chocolate Flip, 1757 Vibram releases on Friday, January 20 at 12 p.m. ET online at Blackstock & Weber. In related news, check out the biggest street style footwear trends at men’s Milan Fashion Week FW23.
