Marvel’s next blockbuster film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is just around the corner. Celebrating this, Marvel and Disney have continued its partnership with adidas, featuring Black Panther themed footwear. First, Patrick Mahomes’ adidas Impact FLX took on black, purple and gold with a thematic look that is now landing on the adidas Ultra 4D. The collection follows previous Marvel collaborations such as LEGO sets based on the upcoming film.With the adidas Ultra 4D, the Three Stripes nods to the Black Panther’s signature armor with its thematic detailing. The UltraBOOST DNA-esque upper’s base begins with a black Primeknit that carries purple accents throughout and at the trim. Spikes land on the toebox, referencing the armor’s collar alongside a patterned black cage with linework reminiscent of the armor as well. Gold also lands on the cage’s Three Stripes with the heel cage carrying a simple gray with Ultra 4D branding.
