UNDEFEATED and Converse Reveal Next Batch of Chuck 70 Hi “Fundamentals”

UNDEFEATED’s “Fundamentals” program — an initiative that kicked off for Summer 2020 that entails a series of curated essential pieces — is transferring its energy to the new year through a reconnection with Converse. Together, the two brands have joined hands again to work on another duo of Chuck 70 Hi colorways. The classic hoops-turned-lifestyle silhouette calls upon the similar “Parchment” and “Black” color schemes that appeared on the initial duo of makeups, but these newest updates offer up slightly different design cues. Both options permit their titular hues to decorate the canvas uppers and midsoles alike, while at the same time sprawling vibrant blue accents to the strip just above the midsoles as well as on the five strike logos which are tethered to the forefoot.M edial side patches twist things up a bit as they have been wiped completely clean of the traditional One Star branding. Moreover, the heels also feature more branding as “UNDEFEATED” spelled out vertically and tonally on each iteration.Peep an in-depth view of the capsule above, and mark your calendars for an exclusive UNDEFEATED launch on February 19. The MSRP will be $90 USD.Seeking more Converse news? A Chuck 70 Hi dressed as a DuPont Tyvek mailer has been revealed.

Already with a strong list of collaborations under its belt, the New Balance 2002R is fully back on the radar of lifestyle sneaker lovers across the globe. As of late, the silhouette has instead zeroed in on further extending catalog of general releases, and that has just been updated with a fresh “Atlas/Lemon Haze” offering.Based off a first glance at these kicks, its palette carries heavy “dad shoe” vibes, and sports color schemes similar to one of the offerings of thisisneverthat’s New Balance 2002R collection which launched back in October 2020.On these street-ready kicks, white overlays take up a majority of the space, and come paired with mesh layers below that are tinted with a “Lemon Haze” to formulate the meat of the base. adidas Originals Channels Blondey on New See-Through Superstar

adidas’ Superstar is a solid shoe — both literally and figuratively. It’s survived the test of time, lasting over 50 years as one of adidas Originals’ most popular silhouettes, and is usually made of sturdy leather that’s bolstered by a signature rubber toe cap. However, THAMES MMXX founder Blondey added a new twist to it in 2019 by collaborating on a see-through version, five colorways in total of which have since released. Now, the Three Stripes’ lifestyle division is tapping Blondey’s signature ethos for a “White/Grey/Cloud White” Superstar that borrows heavily from the aforementioned collaborations.Familiar translucent TPU serves as the base material, with its see-through style overlaid by solid white leather Three Stripe graphics and heel tabs. These heel tabs boast a black Trefoil hit, and more black branding appears on the white leather tongue — itself which is surrounded by white leather eyestays. A gold foil “Superstar” hit appears on the medial midfoot, with white rubber toe caps, midsoles and outsole finalizing the look.An undeniably apt style for those who like to wear colorful socks, this windowpane Superstar is available on the adidas UK webstore now for £80 GBP (approximately $111 USD).For more news on new sneaker styles, check out the latest installment of HYPEBEAST’s weekly Best Footwear Drops list.
