ASICS has announced the launch of its new “Sunrise Red” collection, with each of the nine silhouettes releasing as digital sneakers. The capsule features a number of classic ASICS silhouettes, each of which will be available as an NFT through an online auction.Overall 189 NFTs will be available. This includes “Sunrise Red” versions of the GEL-LYTE III, GEL-QUANTUM 360, METARACER, GEL-RESOLUTION 8, METARISE, METASPEED Sky and METASPRINT, as well as flip flops and sandals. There will be 20 NFTS of each of these digital sneakers in the capsule’s eponymous colorway. Additionally, one NFT of each silhouette will also release in a limited-edition metallic gold colorway.Following the online auction, ASICS will reinvest all proceeds through its Digital Goods Artist-in-Residence Program, which makes up part of its wider Sound Mind, Sound Body philosophy.Take a look through some of the digital sneakers in the gallery above.
