Coming together for “a partnership built for the ground up,” Albino & Preto has come together with Saucony for a collection designed in the spirit of sport. The duo developed a unisex athletic/lifestyle collection highlighting their symbiotic relationship, love of sport, and heritage.Leading the collaboration is Albino & Preto’s take on the iconic Saucony Shadow 5000 footwear model. Taking cues from vintage outdoor recreational design infused with martial arts detailing, with jiu-jitsu inspiring the understated color palette used on the shoe.The water-resistant uppers of the shoe feature embossed tatami rubber toe boxes, suede panels, and pearl weave underlays. Additional detailing comes in the form of 3M reflective elements and co-branding motifs throughout. Elevating the A&P x Saucony Shadow 5000 are speckled midsoles paired with rugged outsoles.Accompanying the collaborative footwear release is a series of apparel marked by a matching gi with multicolor speckled patches and embroidery.
