adidas has transformed the UltraBOOST from a running silhouette to a full-blown lifestyle statement, and the shoe’s impact only grew when the Three Stripes took the shoe to the next level with the Ultra4D. Now, the pair is set to arrive in a familiar multicolored colorway of “Footwear White/Core Black/Solar Red.”While those three colors may define the base of the shoe, it’s what lies between the Primeknit upper that sets this sneaker apart. Like UltraBOOSTs of old, multicolored iterations are typically set to become fan favorites — take a look at 2018’s UB 4.0, inspired by the 1.0 version, if you need reminding. Here, a white Primeknit base is intersected with pops of neon yellow, deep blue and washed-out orange on the toe box, while more of the blue makes up the rear quarter. Inside the shoe, you’ll find the contrasting “Solar Red,” while more blue decorates the adidas-branded tongue.Elsewhere, we find a lace cage in white adorned with the Three Stripes in black, “Solar Red” eyelets, and neon yellow laces, while a white Ultra4D-branded heel clip rounds out the uppers. Naturally, the greenish tint of the 4D sole unit meets a black Continental rubber outsole for a final flourish of color.adidas’ Ultra4D in “Footwear White/Core Black/Solar Red” can be seen above and is set to release at stockists such as Asphalt Gold on May 15, costing €219 EUR (approx. $232 USD).In other news, the YEEZY 500 “Granite” is upon us.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
