ACES is celebrating Penny Hardaway’s head coaching career at the University of Memphis. Ahead of his final home game of the season, the brand has collaborated on a 1-of-1 Nike Air Max Penny 1 to commemorate the occasion. Currently, the team is ranked third best in the American Athletic Conference with Hardaway leading the Tigers to five straight 20-win seasons and an NIT Championship upon returning the NCAA Tournament for the first time in eight years. The exclusive pair of Nike Air Max Penny 1s arrive in a neutral color scheme. The 1-of-1 design sees the shoe constructed with tumbled, buttery and hair suede leather and features the model’s signature jewel Swooshes. A “Hustle & Heart” text graphic highlights the Swoosh in monochrome, while the “GOD GOT ME” in the dollar bill font is seen on the tongue with the ACES logo. “LEGACY” and “ACES” is printed on the heels as well as the graphic on the heel’s cushioning unit. Since this is a 1-of-1 shoe, there has not been a release date set for the model. However, it is uncertain if Nike will release them down the line.
