After putting out a few footwear team-ups with Converse back in 2017 and 2019, A$AP Nast made the decision to jump ship from the One Star brand and join the Reebok family. The move was unannounced and essentially was brought to light when the two unveiled their earth-toned Classic Leather Legacy collaboration earlier in 2021. And now, it appears both parties will proceed with more releases, one being this newly surfaced red and black colorway of the Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge that’s designed to hit the trails.Teased by the Harlem-born rapper himself, the shoes — which are labeled as a project with his NST2 imprint — are mostly done up with bold red uppers and come accessorized with suede overlays and warped lines throughout the upper, all of which are dripped in a solid black. Bold yellow accents are also invited in to dress up the laces — which are held together by a toggle — the Reebok logos on the lateral sides, the overlays next to the toe tips and the exposed stitchings on the rear. Additionally, the heel tabs are adorned with NST2 branding. Grippy soles down below are forged with Vibram rubber to give wearers ample traction when either walking through dirt hiking trails or the streets. No release info has been confirmed just yet, but you can likely anticipate Reebok to release these in the coming months.Previously, Reebok previewed a friends and family Club C pair inspired by the EAMES house.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
