One avenue that Aimé Leon Dore took to attract the mainstream sneaker crowd is by continuously collaborating with New Balance for footwear projects. The streetwear label helmed by Teddy Santis is expected to roll out more installments atop the 1906 and 860v2 later this year, but now we’re capturing a look at a newly-surfaced Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R sample.Heavy tennis vibes are expressed through this colorway. A majority of the real estate relies on a crispy white hue for styling as it shrouds the smooth leather overlays as well as the mesh fabric that makes up the collars and the insides of the “N” logos. From there, hits of green pop out across the tongue’s NB branding, tumbled leather strips on the collars that host the Boston sportswear brand’s moniker and the molds that are attached to the lower heels.
